    I always thought that Reading Recovery address the mind of the non reader but not their heart.

    Does the programme help children want to learn to read?

    I think not. And some children are just put on to fill a gap or because they are a certain age- not addressing they they might need to mature some more before they are 'ready'.

    My two cents worth!
